21.03.2006: Since we have finally found a useful collision, we will stop generating workunits this weekend. The project may be down for a while to transfer to a new server and at the same time we might go to a new project url.
The current url will at least stay active with all the news and OLD stats.
The stats will be transferred to the new server in due time.
We'll keep you updated here.

There are loads of other projects out there and they would be very happy if you crunch for them in the meantime!

Wer Probleme beim uploaden hat oder die Fehlermeldungen "Couldn`t connect to" oder "-106" bekommt, einfach Boinc neustarten, da sich die IP irgendwie vom Server geändert hat und die Boinc aktualisieren muß, damit klappts bestimmt!

"3/8 Amount of bitdifferences eliminated" gefunden. Wie sieht die Zukunft aus? Hier etwas aus dem Forum:

Well as soon as we finish all 8, then this project will stop working on MD5.
This project was started up with more research than MD5 in mind, but we are not that far.

So basically, when we finish we might not have anything for you for some time. But I think we will stay a long way from dead.

6/8 gefunden, die 2 letzten werden wohl lt. Admin noch ein paar Wochen dauern, das Quorum liegt jetzt bei 5/6!

Hashclash sucht jetzt den letzten. Das Quorum wurde wieder auf 1 gesetzt.

HashClash hat die Suche beendet. Alle 8 wurden gefunden. Die restlichen WUs laufen jetzt aus.
