AndrOINC is a boinc project trying to break a 1024 bit RSA key used by Motorola to sign the boot and recovery partitions on the Motorola Milestone. If this key could be broken, we would be able to sign our own boot/recovery images, which would enable us to run custom kernels and recovery images on the Milestone.

Ersatz für das alte MilestoneRSA, was abgebrochen wurde.

Wie bei Dnetc auch (gleicher Admin):

The project will work to 31/01/2011 - lack of finances to maintain the server.
Due to server maintenance problems the project will work to 01/31/2011. - OxyOne

Man sollte das aber schon vorher abklären, bevor man gleich 2 Projekte laufen lässt, zumal die auch etliche Jahre brauchen.

So schnell wie AndrOINC aufgetaucht ist, wird es auch wieder verschwunden sein....

Nach einigen Spenden läufts weiter:

Today few users have donated directly our project server, and make declaration they will donate project monthly. Thank you very much to all who are supporting AndrOINC.net

We are back !!! :)
I have great news for you we are back. We didn't get our server back yet, but we have HDD with all backups.
Now I'm restoring project from backup I think it will take about 1 day so we should start sending wu's tomorrow afternoon. Backup is from 4th Aprli 2010 23:30 CEST so there will be some point loss :( (Server was turned off about 16:30 CEST 5t Aprli)

Da die Andoinc-Seite im Moment noch auf die dnetc-Seite verweist, wurden die Andoinc-Stats bei Free-DC von den Dnetc-stats überschrieben. Vermute das könnte auch noch bei Boincstats passieren, das Problem haben ja alle.

Wird also noch etwas länger dauern...

Erfreulicherweise ist die Redirection auf Dnetc weg, so das die Stats nicht mehr durcheinander kommen sollten.
