TN-Grid is a platform that uses Internet-connected computers to do research in various scientific projects. You can participate by downloading and running a free program on your computer.
TN-Grid is based at the Research Area of Trento of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR) and currently hosted by the University of Trento (UNITN). The first project we host is
•gene@home, in collaboration with Fondazione Edmund Mach (FEM) and the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI) of UNITN.

Es gibt seit kurzem neue Optimized Apps für AVX/FMA fähige Prozessoren.

Es gibt neue Arbeit mit einem umfassenderen Dataset. Die Laufzeiten der WUs können sich dadurch mindestens verdoppeln:

We are starting to distribute another experiment (single gene expansion) with a new Vitis vinifera dataset. This dataset contains the same number of genes but a much larger expression data; running times are therefore expected to be much longer (around twice).
