Es gibt eine neue beta2 Seite, d.h. neu optimierte Modelle und die gehen wirklich richtig ab!
Die Credits vom beta1 Projekt wurden in beta2 importiert, der Admin hat schon wegen Stats bei Boincstats angefragt aber noch keine Antwort erhalten. Zumindest sollten ansonsten die credits bei CPDN mit einfließen.
Das Projekt wurde jetzt in unser Wiki mit aufgenommen!

Also wird das noch nicht übernommen!But credit from this new Beta2 project won't be factored into our CPDN accounts until Tolu organises this. He's said he will but he hasn't said when.

Meine WU ist durch nach 272h ca. mit einem 0,94 s/ts Wert, es gab keinerlei Probleme.
Ein paar kleinere bugs:
- Grafik und Anzeige in der Taskbar verlieren ihren Namen nach pausieren
- % Anzeige ist im BOINCmgr falsch nachdem eine Phase abgeschlossen ist, in der Grafik ist die %-Anzeige in Ordnung
Nach einem Vorschlag von mir, wird wohl demnächst noch eine Phase X Anzeige in die Grafik eingebaut werden, warten wir`s ab...

* Abort Mid-Holocene models we're already running. He knows about the MH bugs and has enough MH models.
* If we really want to complete a MH model (eg because it's near completion or we think it's a particularly interesting model), suspend it.
* In our Beta account preferences there's now a choice of models. We should deselect MH, then update CPDN Beta in BOINC manager to make the change take effect.
* Please download and run a spinup model.
Upload file size limit for HadCM3 tasks
The upload file size limit in client_state.xml for HadCM3 tasks is currently set too low and all tasks will fail with BOINC error number -131.
The only way round this for current tasks is to stop BOINC, edit client_state.xml and increase the value in the <max_nbytes>10000000.000000</max_nbytes> line for the HadCM3 upload files.
The actual upload file size is not currently known, but adding an extra '0' after the '1' will hopefully guarantee the file size stays inside the limit. I for one certainly wouldn't be happy with a 95MB+ upload file!
This will also have to be done for all HadCM3 tasks received from the server until the task templates can be corrected.
Die neue Famous-Grafik sieht etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aus aber hat es in sich. Alle Anzeigen wie Regen, Luftdruck, Temperatur auf einen Blick und in Echtzeit, Checkpointanzeige + Status etwas verändert rechts im Bild. Hab mal das Bild im Wiki aktualisiert. Man kann jetzt auch mit der Maus die einzelnen Symbole unten anklicken und wie mit Tastatur die verschiedenen Funktionen ein- und ausschalten. 
Es gibt zur Zeit noch ein HADCM3L Modell aber nur für Linux. Falls jemand Infos zu diesem Modell hat, bitte hier posten.

Konnte das letzte defekte noch mit meiner VM abgreifen, Daten werden in der nächsten Version vom BOINCCalculator drin sein.

Leider fehlen mir noch einige Daten und ein neues Modell ist in Arbeit, ob das jetzt mehrere Phasen hat kann ich noch nicht sagen, zumindest sollte es kürzer sein als das vorherige?

Hi Everyone!
Just a quick note about the new HadM3L workunits we are starting to test...
We have made some small changes to the HadCM3L build, specifically allowing us to run experiments over a wider range of dates (specifically 1850-2200 now rather than 1920-2080), and have changed the way that some of the ancillaries are handled by the model.
This is all in preparation for a number of upcoming experiments with the HadCM3L model, which will allow us to explore a wide range of future forcing scenarios.
Part of this experiment will be to restart some of the original HadCM3L models and run from 2000-2100, with the new forcings from the CMIP5 experiment (more details can be found at http://pcmdi-cmip.llnl.gov/cmip5/forcing.html). We are doing this to provide a comparison with results from other modelling groups which are contributing simulations to this archive. In addition, we are also extending the HadCM3L geoengineering experiment using this build, to explore the effect of perturbing model physics on the response to geoengineering activities.
More details will follow as we finish up the experimental design for each of these new phases.
